ETB Hogenes opts for Wieland flat cables

ETB Hogenes equipped a car park with smart charging stations. To install this easily and quickly, ETB Hogenes called on a pluggable electrical installation system, a Wieland Podis® flat cable from Isolectra.

Smart flat cable

In the car park, an electrical power supply system was installed along all parking spaces using a Wieland Podis^® flat cable. This can be quickly and easily installed against a wall or ceiling. A split module fitted to the flat cable was placed only at locations where a charging unit was to be placed immediately. In other parking areas, such a split module and charging station can be quickly and easily installed later.

Smart charging station

The smart charging units connected by Hogenes communicate with each other via a Wi-Fi connection. This way, the system ‘knows’ where a car is connected. Targeted charging maximises the capacity of the power cable and never overloads.
